Are Angels Sexless?

The sin of the angels mating with human women & creating the nephilim was so bad that God bound them in chains in tartarus until the judgement. In light of that, other fallen angels would probably not have wanted the same fate, so I don't think they mated with women again after the flood.

Probably, one of Noah's son's wives had tainted genes since the earth was so corrupt that everyone else was destroyed. The sons wouldn't have had many women to choose from & that may be how giants continued after the flood. The genes that were passed on were watered down from the first generation nephilim (half human, half angel) to the rephaim, to the zamzummin, anakim, etc.

Maybe the names describe the amount of nephilim genes they may have had in them. The Bible does not say that angels are sexless & can't have sex. There are male & female angels according to Zechariah 5:9. Jesus says that we will neither give nor be given in marriage but will be like the angels in heaven.

Why would he say that if there were only men angels? Apparently they can't procreate little angels, but they can procreate with humans. We just won't be having sex there because it was apparently intended to be a mortal activity.

Sexual activity on board UFO

Assuming that Zechariah 5:5-11 are related to the UFO Abductions, with sexual activity on board the UFO,
I find it interesting that the number Pi which is 3.1415926535897..., when turned into letters, for example 123 to abc,
becomes Ca do I Zec 5 8, which is the middle verse of the 7 verses of Zechariah 5:5-11 !
C is the 3rd letter, a is the 1st letter, d is the 4th letter, o is the 15th letter, I is the 9th letter, Z is the 26th letter, e is the 5th letter,
and c is the 3rd letter.
But I build my faith with time in the Lord Jesus,
as the Work of God is to believe in Him whom He sent, see John 6:29.

Angels and humans not marrying NEW

All angels do have an assigned sex just as humans do. The reason Jesus said, "people will be as the angels, neither marrying nor given in marriage" is relatively simple. When we get into our eternal bodies, is exactly that, eternal, we will be made to last forever and have no need to procreate to produce future people to inhabit the place, so therefore marriage and sex will be eliminated for all those with eternal bodies.
However, those who make it thru the tribulation period in their human body during the millennial period will be getting married and reproducing as they always did since they do not have eternal bodies, all this can be found in Isaiah as best I remember about the people having children during that time period.
It will be after the millennium after the final judgement made on the survivors in the human body of the tribulation, that they will then receive a glorified body as the saints did during the rapture, then they will no longer be getting married or reproducing the human race anymore, since all people living in the eternal home with God and will never die there will be no need of getting married in order to reproduce under God's guideline we currently have to fulfill His mandate of populating the earth. I'm just curious if God made the angels male and female in other words in the creation then why when he created Adam he was the only human in other words male and then God removed a rib from Adam to make Eve? Can you elaborate. Thank you.

there are many but we are hidden for purpose
our genitals are mixed but to a normal person they look normal
we are messengers we meet people only a brief time then disappear not like vanish but we are there a moment gone the next out of sight out of mind wall flower

we dont have powers or wings our power is in god
the abilities we do have are tailored toward our interest in creation and science we are observational we are fascinated by creation
some are well versed in certain areas but very versatile we depend on god a lot we are not perfect..
we have choice too
many are not into sexual relations its just not desired its hard to be in a relationship
because we look male from some angles and female the next imagine two in one from being born twins combined..
we have both genders...
and both definitions of male and female
we are not full male not full female we are sexless a being only god and us knows are true gender because of that bond and trust and love earthly things and sex dont interest us much
as its all about winning souls and experiencing creation and then the cosmos will be wonderful and awesome

Why bother trying to reason whether angels can be female or have sex etc when the whole concept is lmaginary?

The idea of angels and particularly gaurdian angels is nothing but the transition and development of ancient beliefs that each person or group had a God to protect them. These beliefs reflected men’s fears from natural phenomena like thunder and lightning, and later, from disasters like draughts, famine and disease. Superstition is intertwined with religion and came about through circumstantial events like getting lucky/rich or poor or suffering accidents like personal burns or house collapsing or boat capsizing. All mundane every day things that had no credible explanations theeefore were ascribed to unearthly beings. Where to look for them? Of course the sky up above which was the everlasting wonder of the ancient world.

We still suffer from this legacy of superstition in various degrees. The Jewish community might have more than the average group probably because their religion and recorded history have survived the longest of any other and their history of struggle through the millennia ensured their continued attachment to the Torah and ancient beliefs.

Simply stating that it is highly erratic to interpret what the Bible calls "two WOMEN" as female ANGELS.

Another angel was present speaking with the prophet. There were no female angels mentioned in the Bible. True, the Angels mentioned had masculine names. Michael, Gabriel, Lucifer, does that make them males??

Angels are genderless.

Secondly, the Nephilims are not half breeds. They are simply privileged sons of the nobles or Mighty men. The term "Son's of God" simply means. 'sons of the mighty or noble'

They are over-privileged boys who took whichever girl beautiful, but from poor or underprivileged families, that pleased them without the proper marriage protocols and had bastard kids with them.
Just like today. Powerful men forcing themselves on our daughters. Old story.

The Bible clearly tells us there was 'another irruption' of the fallen angels in this verse--"There were giants in the earth in those days AND ALSO AFTER THAT, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men---" (meaning this also happened AGAIN AFTER THE FLOOD OF NOAH) (Genesis 6:4)

Angels have been the topic of many stories in the Bible where they did indeed have bodies. The Angels sent to escort Lot out of the city of Soddom before it was destroyed are a perfect example. How about the Angel that was wrestling Jacob all night?

Disembodied spirits that roam the earth are Demons. These are the evil spirits of the Nephilim. When they die, their spirits stay here on earth. These are the dead offspring of the fallen watchers and human women.

There are several different types of Angels listed in the Bible, and they all have bodies!

Jesus was not describing or talking about an angel in this verse, he was talking about a spirit, which is what a dead person is when they die. A disembodied spirit does not have flesh or bones, Jesus was pointing out that he had a body, and was therefore not a demon or disembodied spirit.

They have no bodies. They are spirits. Neither male nor female. And there was a type of unification. But it was not sexual. If your interested I have three pages on here titled Non-Enoch look at Genesis 6, Nephilim and son's of God.

Spirit beings can't have sex. They're like the air that you breathe. Like the wind. They're not physical. And the spirit within you and me is the same.

Hello Kate,

You have some reasonable points as concerns angels.

The Bible clearly states that the entire world was populated by Noah's three sons. Consequently, if one of them/all of them was "tainted as nephilim" then the whole world since then is in serious trouble.

Every person born, therefore, from that period until this day will be merely half human which means it would have rendered an irrelevance for the Messiah to have come.

Eight people entered the ark: Noah and his wife; his three sons and their three wives. If your theory is correct, it could as well mean that:

1. All the women were "tainted".

2. Two of the women were "tainted"

3. One woman was "tainted".

And most frighteningly: all the women were "tainted". This clearly is untrue as the scripture does not support it.

So, this is not so. The Most High gave strict instructions as to who entered the ark including animals. It may be conjectured that animals might also have been genetically altered. The strict instructions by the Most High would have thwarted this profanity.

It is written:

Peter 2:5 if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others.

Genesis 7:1 The LORD then said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.

So, we see that God saved only Noah and his family but destroyed ONLY all the ungodly people. The most High was specifically clear by saying: “You and your family” and “because I have found you righteous in this generation”. The declaration was inclusive of all the persons entering the ark.

A more vivid parallel could be envisioned in the intercession of Abraham to the Most High in Lot’s behalf before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorra – a kind of similitude:

Gen: 18: 32 - 33

32 And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.

33 And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

We can now see that the Most High may not destroy a place forever if there are 10 righteous people living there. As a result, it has to be inferred that all the eight people who entered the ark were direct descendants of Adam in this instance.

Else why destroy the world with the main objective of restarting and at the same time spoiling it again with Nephilims inside the ark? This defeats the entire purpose.

It should also be noted that the Nephilims had supernatural strengths and powers due specifically to their half-divine nature. How they may have survived the deluge, I do not know, another discourse altogether. All we know is that the scriptures say that they existed after.
